Hoegger Goat Supply: Information for Placing Your Order

INFORMATION FOR PLACING YOUR ORDER:
(When requesting material for goat shows, field days, etc.,
please tell us the date of the event and estimated number of people attending.)

ON-LINE ORDERS:
You may order directly from your computer, using our shopping cart and secure server for credit card payments, or use the shopping cart to send in your order and then provide your credit card information via our toll-free number 1-800-221-GOAT (4628). The shopping cart may also be used to generate an order form that you can print out and mail to us with your check or money order. We also accept COD orders via the shopping cart.

CATALOG ORDERS:
You may order from our print catalog. To request a copy, please call us at 1-800-221-4628.

PHONE ORDERS:
As a convenience to you and with no added expense, we are happy to accept telephone orders via our toll-free number: 1-800-221-GOAT (4628). This number is for orders only, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, ET. The toll-free number is an ordering line only. If you have questions about products, or need help with a goat problem, please call (770) 461-5398.

We make every effort to ship orders the same day they are received. If an item is out of stock, we will hold the entire order no more than 5 days. If, at that time, the order cannot be shipped in its entirety, a partial will be shipped and the remaining part back-ordered and shipped as soon as possible at no additional shipping cost. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. There is no shipping on Saturday or Sunday.

BEFORE YOU PLACE A PHONE ORDER:
To insure speedy deliver of your order, the following suggestions are made:
1. Have your order ready when you call.
2. Prepare your order as it appears on the printed order blank, i.e., quantity, item number, description and price.
3. Order early in the day.
4. Plan ahead to allow plenty of time for delivery of your order.
5. Have your credit card number number AND expiration date ready.
6. We offer Next Day, Second Day, 3-Day Select, and Saturday Shipping. The shipping/handling fee will be the actual shipping charge by weight for this special service, plus a $3.00 handling fee.
7. Our business is located on the east coast. Normal UPS delivery varies from 2 working days to adjoining states and 6 to 7 working days to the west coast.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, checks and money orders. We also ship COD. Please make COD payments in cashier's checks or money orders as UPS no longer accepts cash payments. We do not offer individual open accounts. A $15.00 service charge will be added on all returned checks.

DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE:
If you receive a package that is broken or damaged, you must report the problem to UPS using their toll-free number, (800) 742-5877, or the U.S. Postal Service immediately. Until the appropriate forms are received from the delivery service, we cannot process your replacement or refund.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES:
For your convenience we have simplified the shipping and handling charges. Please add up the total of your order and then compare with the chart below to determine the shipping handling charges. If you are ordering from the shopping cart, the shipping and handling will be calculated for you.

If your order total is:
$20.00 or under	add $6.95
$20.01 - $50.00	add $8.25
$50.01 - $75.00	add $10.75
$75.01 - $100.00	add $11.55
$100.01 - $130.00	add $12.60
$130.01 - $200.00	add $15.05
$200.01 - $250.00	add $16.50
$250.01 - $500.00	add $18.00

*Orders over $500: we will add additional shipping as needed in our office. If you are paying by check or money order please e-mail us for a shipping cost quote.

Heavy Items: A few items in our catalog, such as the 5 lb. containers of some of our supplements, carry extra shipping charges, as noted on the item listings. Click here for a chart for figuring additional shipping charges. These additional charges will be added to on-line credit card orders in our office.

Additional Charge for COD: add $8.50 (the shopping cart will add this automatically to on-line orders).
COD Payments MUST be cashier's check or Money Order. Please! No personal checks or cash for COD orders! For Internet orders, purchasing by check or money order, the order will be shipped after the funds are received.

Shipping by United Parcel Service (UPS):
We ship by UPS unless otherwise instructed. UPS cannot deliver to a post office box so always give street address and/or delivery instructions for UPS drivers. Remember, there are shipping and handling charges on every order, regardless of size. Save shipping costs by planning ahead and ordering several items at one time.
***On regular orders, UPS shipments are filled Monday through Friday. UPS does not pick up up from us on Saturday or Sunday.***

Next Day Air and Second Day Air UPS available:
The charges for these services will be determined by the weight of the package and the zone to which it is being shipped. Call us at 1-800-221-4628 if you need a shipping cost quote.
***Next Day Air orders that are received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be filled on Monday for Tuesday delivery.***
